What exactly does WEEV do?

WEEV helps you work out which EV is right, find available cars, compare offers and help secure the purchase. We can also coordinate delivery and help with home charging, finance or trade-in through appropriate partners.
Do I buy the car from WEEV or the dealer?

You purchase the vehicle directly from the supplying dealer. WEEV helps with the recommendation, sourcing, comparison and coordination around it.
Are you a dealership?

No. WEEV doesn't hold stock and isn't owned by a dealer group or manufacturer. We're not tied to one brand or one dealer group.
Does WEEV charge me?

There's currently no upfront fee for the standard WEEV buying service. Depending on the transaction, WEEV may receive a fee from a supplying dealer or partner. We'll be transparent about relevant arrangements.
How does WEEV make money?

WEEV may receive a success, referral or service fee from a dealer or other partner when a customer completes a transaction. Relevant commercial relationships are disclosed where appropriate.
Can WEEV arrange vehicle delivery?

Yes. Where delivery is required, WEEV can help coordinate delivery with the supplying dealer or an appropriate transport provider. Availability and cost may depend on the vehicle and location.
Can you source a car interstate?

Yes. Depending on the vehicle and your location, WEEV can look beyond your local area and help assess interstate options. Delivery, registration and other costs are considered as part of the comparison.
How long does it take?

The questionnaire takes about two minutes. We come back with our recommendation as soon as we've had a proper look at the options.
Can you help with finance or a trade-in?

We can make introductions to partners if you need them. Any arrangement is between you and the provider — WEEV isn't a lender and doesn't provide credit advice.
What if an EV isn't right for me yet?

We'll say so. If your driving, parking or budget means an electric car doesn't stack up right now, that's a useful answer and you'll get it straight.
Do you cover used and demo cars?

Yes. Where they make sense, we compare new, demo and used options.
Will you help me sort out charging?
+
Yes. We'll help you work out what your home needs and arrange installation through an appropriate licensed partner. WEEV doesn't perform electrical work — all installation is completed by licensed electricians.
Where do you operate?

Australia-wide. We can search nationally, which often matters for the newer models.
